Historically, a way station was a place of rest during a long journey. A stop where travelers could warm themselves, gather supplies, share information, and steady their footing before continuing on. It was not the destination, but it played a critical role in making the journey possible.

That sentiment is at the heart of what The Way Station offers: a place to slow down, take stock, and gather what you need for what comes next. Whether you are navigating a personal transition or building something that serves others, I would be honored to support you along the way.

Think of therapy as retracing your steps on a mapโ€”looking closely at the roads, detours, and patterns that brought you to this moment. Itโ€™s about exploring your history, understanding why certain routes were taken, and working through the places where you may have gotten stuck or lost along the way.

Coaching, on the other hand, is pulling out the compass. We acknowledge where youโ€™ve been, but our focus is on where you want to go next. Together, we choose a direction, identify the small steps that will get you moving, and make adjustments along the way. Both are valuable, just different tools for different parts of the journey.
